Mighty Mojo Man - Original Art

Oftentimes when I'm not sure What to create, I start by picking shapes from here and there and rearranging them like puzzling puzzle pieces. I have no preconception of a color theme, nor an imagined outline of my projected idea. Instead, I study my 'larger shapes' and try to envision how they can be used as the 'base shape'. The next addition to this piece were the eyes and lips, then I knew this was going to be 'Mojo-themed'. I used around 15-20 different template sheets to end up with a 'spirited chap' shouldering a pair of bandit peacocks trying to tempt him off the path of positivity. This is a Marker-designed, Penciled backdrop, with Inked enhancements art piece on wrapped canvas measuring 12x16.
